NOVAAGRO has completed the acquisition of a controlling stake in AGROGENERATION.
AgroGeneration is a large-scale producer of grain and oilseed. The company’s core business is grains and oil commodity crop farming, operating near 30,000 hectares of high quality agricultural lands in the East of Ukraine.
On 14 December, the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine allowed Novaagro Ukraine LLC to acquire Agrogeneration, a French-registered agricultural holding with agricultural assets in Ukraine.
Preparations for the future deal have begun.

The company NOVATRADE S.R.O. (Slovakia) was founded to organise the supply of agricultural products to European markets.
In December 2022, after the production site was restored, the first chicken was laid at the NOVA production complex and the first sales of products took place in early January.
Establishment of Novatorg Trading Company LLC.
The goal is to develop the production and sale of premium and first-grade wheat flour, buckwheat and pea groats under the Darislava trademark, granulated wheat bran, fuel pellets from wheat bran and sunflower husk, and the production of complete feed.
Acquisition of an oil extraction plant in Vasyshcheve village, Kharkiv region.
The Vasyshchev Oil Extraction Plant was added to the Group’s production assets, opening a new important business line – sunflower seed processing, production of oil, meal and fuel pellets.
Commissioning of the first poultry houses.
In autumn 2018, 10 modern poultry houses with a capacity of over 240,000 chickens were put into operation in the village of Morozivka, Kharkiv region, after reconstruction and construction.
Shortly afterwards, we launched two more production sites for rearing broiler chickens and a meat production facility in Gusarivka and Pokrovske, Kharkiv region.
We decided to launch a new line of business for the group – chicken breeding and healthy meat production.
In 2017, we acquired a poultry production site in the village of Morozivka, Kharkiv region, and began construction of modern poultry houses.
On 09 June 2016, the company Agricultural Company NOVAAGRO LLC was established and the first elevator, Kovyagovsky Elevator in Kharkiv region, was acquired from Kernel Group.
The purpose of AIC NOVAAGRO is to provide professional elevator services at six large grain elevators in the Kharkiv region.

- Orilsk elevator – 65 thousand tonnes;
- Velykoburlutskyi elevator – 60 thousand tonnes;
- Shevchenkivskyi elevator – 42.3 thousand tonnes;
- Kovyagovsky elevator – 27 thousand tonnes;
- Kazacholopansky elevator – 15.3 thousand tonnes.
Establishment of Novaagro Trading House LLC, which in a few years would become one of the largest grain processors and flour producers in Eastern Ukraine.
The main areas of activity were: production and sale to the domestic market and export of premium and first-grade flour, wheat bran, buckwheat and pea groats, sunflower oil and meal, as well as purchase and supply of grains and oilseeds to the global markets.
Given the different views on the future development of the group, a decision was made to withdraw from the AGROSVIT Group and continue the independent development of NOVAAGRO Group.
NOVAAGRO UKRAINE LLC becomes a holding company that gradually concentrates the group’s production assets.
We accepted an offer to sell our agricultural businesses to SigmaBleyzer, an international investment group.
The proceeds from the sale were invested in the acquisition of a 50% stake in Agrosvit Limited (Cyprus).
Agrosvit Limited is engaged in grain processing business and organisation of international agricultural trade.
The history of the NOVAAGRO group of companies begins with the establishment of Novaagro Limited (Cyprus).
It concentrated all of our agricultural assets in Ukraine since 2002. At that time, the group’s companies were already cultivating 18,000 hectares of agricultural land in the Kharkiv region.
Our background dates back to 2002 when we decided to acquire the agricultural company Ukraine Nova LLC in the Kharkiv region of Ukraine. This was the beginning of our agricultural history: we started growing grains and oilseeds on an area of 5,000 hectares.
