We produce fuel pellets from agricultural processing waste: sunflower husks, wheat bran and a mix.
A fuel pellet is a biofuel. It is a compressed cylindrical pellet with an average length of 5 to 10 cm and a diameter of about 6 cm. The energy value of pellets is quite high, as they have a high density and no moisture.
The production of pellets consists only in pressing sunflower husks under high pressure, without the addition of chemical additives.
The combustion of pellets in the boiler furnace is more efficient: the amount of residues (ash) does not exceed 1.0-3.0% of the total volume of pellets used.
For easy storage and transportation, the pellets are packed in containers or bags.
The undeniable advantage of pellets is their storage conditions. The pellets have low flammability, which means they can be stored in close proximity to heated objects. Since pellets do not absorb moisture, their ability to release heat does not decrease over time, which does not require special storage conditions. In addition, this type of fuel takes up little space, is lightweight, and is easy to transport and store.
